Mukund Krishnaswami
Before founding Lighthouse, Mukund was previously with the Private Equity Division of Lehman Brothers in New York, where he worked on and completed direct equity investments with aggregate transaction values of approximately $1.5 billion.  His experience includes LBO/takeprivate transactions, recapitalizations, early to mid-stage venture capital investments, private equity and structured transactions.  Mukund began his career in the Corporate Finance and Strategy Practice of McKinsey and Company in New York.

He holds undergraduate degrees summa cum laude in Economics and Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School.  Mukund serves on the boards of SAI Investments, Mon Cheri Bridals and RCG Management.  He is also Co-Founder and Senior Editor of The Linneman Letter, a leading macro-economic and investment research publications for global real estate investors.

 
 
  W. Sean Sovak
Sean previously served as Managing Director and Chief Acquisitions Officer for W. P. Carey & Co. LLC, a NYSE-listed investment company with over $7.0 billion in assets under management.  He was responsible for the sourcing, underwriting and structuring of more than 50 middle market financing transactions totaling more than $1.5 billion.  His experience runs across the industry spectrum, from plastic injection molding to refrigerated warehousing, from distribution to general manufacturing, retail, health & fitness, education, auto parts, semiconductors and aviation.  Most recently, residing in Mumbai, Sean led W. P. Carey's investment entry into India, focusing on both equity and real estate opportunities for the firm.

Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors for FabIndia, one of India’s leading retailers.  Sean has also served as Chairman of the US-India Business Council’s Real Estate Executive Committee and as President of a $550 million, public REIT managed by W. P. Carey & Co. LLC.  Sean graduated summa cum laude in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, and has also completed an advanced seminar study on India with the Wharton Fellows program.  He is a member of the Board of the New York Philharmonic and previously served on boards of Business Advisory Committee to the UN and the Wharton Club of New York.

 
 
  Sachin Bhartiya
Sachin has a rich experience in the field of corporate finance and brings an unique blend of lending and advisory background.  He began his career with Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI), one of India’s largest financial institutions and subsequently, worked with GE Capital (India), and Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services (IL&FS), another leading, Indian financial services organization.  In a career spanning over a decade , he has originated and executed a number of transactions both as a lender and advisor for debt and equity, especially, for middle market corporate, covering a variety of industries including power, telecommunications, engineering, cement, steel, paper, auto ancillaries, textile, sugar, etc.

Sachin holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Kolkata University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

 
 
  Boris Siperstein
Boris’s background is a mix of corporate strategy and operational roles, in organizations from nascent startups, to corporations of over 100,000 individuals.  At Lighthouse, Boris has served as interim CEO for a transition of leadership at GlobalFit (a Lighthouse portfolio company), and currently overseas U.S. Fund operations.  Boris holds a BBA from the Business Honors program at the University of Texas at Austin, and is Chairman of the program’s Alumni Advisory Board.  He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School, and a Master of Arts in International Studies from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania.

Boris serves on the National Advisory Board for the Prisoner Entrepreneurship Program (www.pep.org), and is also a Director of India-based DASRA (www.dasra.org), an organization strengthening the effectiveness of India’s non-profit sector through the application of best practices for ‘enlightened giving’.  He has been involved with various charitable community development efforts in the areas of children’s education, development of performing and visual arts, and is current president of his neighborhood homeowner’s association.

 
 
  Ankit Aggarwal
Before joining Lighthouse, Ankit worked as an analyst for Aeneas Capital Management, an Asia Pacific ex Japan focused, deep-value, event driven hedge fund.  Ankit was a part of their in-country India fund totaling $200 million, researching industries such as food processing, jewelry, interior, infrastructure, and textiles.

Ankit has significantly contributed to Lighthouse’s presence, combining a passion for finding undervalued opportunities, with thorough diligence work.  Ankit has co-led efforts to close several transactions for the team.  Ankit completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Computers from Mumbai University.

 
 
  Pawan Kaul
Pawan was previously an Assistant Manager in the Assurance Practice at KPMG India, having led the audit teams of Paper Products Limited, EDS, Roche Diagnostics and Emerson India.  Pawan was also involved with forensic, acquisition due diligence and IPO assignments during his time at KPMG.  Prior to KPMG, Pawan was with Unilever India as part of their Corporate Finance team.  Pawan is a certified Chartered Accountant.  He has also earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mumbai University, with specializations in Entrepreneurial Management and Taxation.
 
 
  Sidharth Bansal
Sidharth was previously a consultant with McKinsey and Co. at their India office.  He has served clients across sectors such as financial services, power, infrastructure, shipping among others.  He is a management graduate from the Indian Institute of Management (Lucknow) and holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (Delhi).  He has interned with Baring Private Equity Partners in the past.
 
 
  Kshitija Sandhu
Kshitija was previously with the Business Payments division of National Australia Bank in Melbourne, Australia, where she was part of a team which specialized in a suite of business banking products.  Kshitija is a management graduate from the University of Ballarat, Australia.  She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Pune University, with specializations in Marketing and Cost and Works Accounting.
 
 
  Piyush Verma
Piyush is a management graduate in Finance from ICFAI Business School (IBS), Mumbai.  He also holds a science degree from Pune University.  Prior to joining Lighthouse, he interned with SBI Capital Markets as part of their M&A team where he helped successfully close multi-million dollar outbound M&A deal.  He has also extensively researched various fund raising options available in India.  Piyush has also worked in the marketing function of an auto ancillary company.
 
 
  Santush Thaakur
Santush has over decade of experience in the financial services sector having worked with international banks and financial institutions.  Santush was part of the Principal Investments group at Morgan Stanley, where his role was expanded beyond administrative responsibilities to include research and analytic support for the investment professionals at the firm.  Prior to Morgan Stanley, Santush was with Perpetual Growth Capital, an independent asset management company, where he was promoted to take on independent responsibility for an administrative role.  Santush began his career with Bank of America Equity Partners, the Asian Private Equity arm of Bank of America, where he was part of the team responsible for managing personnel and business related administration for the India offices.

Santush holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mumbai University.

 
 
  Nitya Khemlani
Nitya was previously with Linneman Associates, a leading US-based macro-economic and strategic real estate advisory firm.  She assisted with publication of the quarterly Linneman Letter.  She holds an International Business and Management degree from The University of Tampa, Florida, and recently completed her Masters in Economics at the University of Warwick, UK.
