Sachin is a co-founder of Lighthouse. Born and brought up in Bihar, he has a unique understanding of rural and urban India. His corporate banking experience brings depth to both access and approach to new business development. His deep analytical skills and rustic style connects well with the founders.
Sachin earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calcutta and is a Chartered Accountant.
Mukund is a co-founder of Lighthouse. He has 24 years of investment experience, including 17 years in India. Mukund previously worked for McKinsey & Company in New York, and Lehman Brothers Merchant Banking Partners.
Mukund earned a dual Bachelor of Science in Economics and Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science (summa cum laude) from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Sean is a co-founder of Lighthouse and a member of the firm’s investment committee. He was an early believer in the “Great Indian Entrepreneurial Revolution” and has called the country home for nearly two decades. He loves finding and building companies that define India’s global leadership. He thrives on helping founders through their growth, with every day being a learning opportunity. He is on the Steering Committee for ARMMAN, a leading, tech-enabled NGO for maternal healthcare.
Sean graduated from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Tarun is a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer at Lighthouse. In this role, Tarun oversees the firm’s operations with direct oversight over finance, compliance, investor relations and ESG, and provide support to the firm’s investment teams. Prior to joining Lighthouse in 2013, Tarun has worked at Kubera Partners, A.T. Kearney and Connect Capital. He began his professional career at Arthur Andersen.
Tarun earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He is also a Chartered Accountant.
Anshul is a Managing Director and co-leads the investment team. She oversees the consumer sector, and her industry experience spans over 19 years. Anshul actively works on deal sourcing and portfolio management. Before Lighthouse, she led consumer sector coverage at ICICI Securities, including M&A, PE and capital market transactions.
Anshul earned an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Indore.
Vivek is a Principal at Lighthouse. Before joining Lighthouse, Vivek was an Investment Banker with Edelweiss, focusing on mid-sized Indian corporations in the consumer and healthcare sectors. Previously, Vivek worked with Bajaj Auto in their R&D four wheeler division and helped design the first quadri-cycle from their stable.
Vivek earned a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Roorkee and has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta.
Prashanth is an Associate Vice President at Lighthouse, and he works on the consumer team. Before joining Lighthouse, he was part of the IIFL private equity team, where he focused on growth-stage investments in tech-enabled consumer businesses, D2C brands and SAAS.
He is a Chartered Accountant and earned his Bachelor of Commerce from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College, Chennai.
Anjali is an Associate Vice President at Lighthouse, where she is responsible for evaluating prospective investments in the Healthcare and Lifesciences vertical. Before joining Lighthouse, she spent four years in Investment Banking at Axis Capital. There, she advised mid-market Indian corporations on their fund-raise endeavours across the focus sectors of Chemicals, Pharma and Lifesciences, Logistics and Manufacturing.
Anjali earned her Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from NIT Allahabad and MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode.”
Shiv is an Associate at Lighthouse. Before joining Lighthouse, Shiv worked in the investment banking division at Spark Capital, where he worked across sectors focusing on Technology and Healthcare. Previously, he also started a hyperlocal logistics business in tier II cities for doorstep delivery of essential items, which was very appreciated during the COVID-19 imposed lockdown.
Shiv earned a Bachelor of Commerce from SRCC, Delhi University and has cleared two levels of CFA.
Arpita is an Associate at Lighthouse. Before joining Lighthouse, Arpita was part of Kotak Investment Banking, where she worked across sectors and products. At Kotak, she was also part of the branding team for the Investment bank.
Arpita is a Chartered Accountant and a CFA Level II candidate.
Chirag is an Associate at Lighthouse. Before joining Lighthouse, Chirag worked in the investment team of IIFL Private Equity. He has also worked with Ambit in their Investment Banking team, where he worked across sectors focusing on FinTech and Financial Services. He started his career with KPMG in India.
Chirag is a Chartered Accountant and has earned a Bachelor of Commerce from HR College, University of Mumbai.
Nitya is Vice President, Investor Relations at Lighthouse. She focuses on maintaining LP relationships and oversees investor-facing communications alongside fund raising. Previously, Nitya worked as a Conference Producer for PEI Media (Hong Kong), organizing conferences and investor round tables across the private equity, private real estate and infrastructure asset classes in Asia.
Nitya earned a Bachelor of Science in International Business Management and Economics (magna cum laude) from the University of Tampa and a Masters in Economics from the University of Warwick.
Jahnvi is Vice President, Finance at Lighthouse. Before joining Lighthouse, she worked for over a decade at PwC, KPMG and BMR Advisors, focusing on fund structuring & set-up, transaction structuring & support, tax / regulatory advisory and compliance for private equity, venture capital and public markets funds. Jahnvi also has experience in tax and regulatory matters pertaining to the financial services sector.
Jahnvi earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mumbai and is a Chartered Accountant.
Rahul is Vice President and Head of ESG and Impact at Lighthouse. Before joining Lighthouse, he was associated with PwC's ESG team, where he helped various private equity firms and corporate houses towards the development of their ESG and responsible investment strategies, carrying out ESG due diligences, portfolio monitoring, assisting portfolio companies towards ESG integration within their operations, decarbonization strategies, impact measurement and management as well as towards sustainability reporting.
Rahul has a Bachelor of Engineering from Gujarat University and an MBA from NIIT University.
Shraddha is Associate Vice President - Compliance at Lighthouse. Before joining Lighthouse, Shraddha worked with the Audit and Assurance Services Practice of KPMG, where she handled audits, tax and compliance-related assurance engagements of companies across sectors, including financial services and manufacturing.
Shraddha is a commerce graduate from the University of Mumbai.
Tarun Puri was the former head of Nike India and, prior to that, had over an 18-year career at Unilever. He specializes in sustainable growth, business turnarounds, and maximising team effectiveness. He has a deep understanding of consumer needs, integrated with strategy development and implementation.
Having successfully led teams in six countries in global, geographical region, and country roles, he is a global citizen who truly understands multi-cultural sensitivities.
Hari's experience spans nearly 40 years, first at Procter and Gamble (P&G) and then at Coty, leading some of the best-known consumer and personal care brands in India and the region. He brings extensive experience in sales and distribution, marketing, and leadership training, with expertise in the FMCG and Beauty industries to Lighthouse.
Hari has received the “William Procter Sales Master” award, one of only 45 recipients globally. He has also received awards for leadership and coaching excellence at the Asia region and national level in P&G.
Ravi has several prominent global leadership positions. He is a Former President of P&G and the Former Group Chief Executive of Jet Airways. He is a Consultant and Advisor to the President and Chief Learning Officer of the Nitto Denko Corporation, Osaka, Japan. Ravi’s area of expertise spans across the consumer and food industries. Ravi is a Senior Fellow, Management Department, Wharton School of Business and Lecturer, Organizational Dynamics Program, University of Pennsylvania; teaching "Globally Capable Leadership".
V. Anantharaman(“Ananth”) has over 30 years of experience in the financial services sector, having led corporate and investment banking teams in leading international institutions, including Standard Chartered Bank, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, and Bank of America. He has worked in India and Singapore with global and regional business leadership and governance responsibilities and has managed diverse teams.
He has strong board-level advisory experience in sectors including technology, consumer & retail, and financial services across M&A, equity and debt capital markets, and risk management.
Mr. Larcombe spent most of his working life at 3i, a world leader in venture capital and private equity with an international network operating in Europe, The United States and Asia. He joined 3i in 1974 and worked for 18 years onidentifying, appraising and negotiating investment opportunities. In 1992, he was appointed Director of Finance and Planning and in 1997, he was appointed Chief Executive. He retired from 3i in 2004.
Mr. Larcombe has sat on the boards of many public and private companies and served on various business and educational councils and is a past Chairman of the British Venture Capital Association. He is an Honorary Fellow of the London Business School. His past directorships include Cape plc, F&C Asset Management, Gallaher Group plc, Gategroup Holdings, Incisive Media, Kodak Alaris, Party Gaming and Smith & Nephew. He was educated at Bromley Grammar School, The University of Birmingham and Harvard Business School.
Ms. Vogelstein has over 25 years of experience in venture capital and specialized equity investing. She was formerly a partner at Apax Partners & Co. Ventures (“Apax”), where she was responsible for the firm’s media investments and chaired the firm’s international media investment group. Prior to joining Apax, Ms. Vogelstein was a partner at Warburg, Pincus & Co., where she was the firm’s first woman private equity partner and was responsible for co-founding the firm’s London office. Currently, Ms. Vogelstein is Chairman of the Board of the Brooklyn Museum and former Chairman of the Board of The School of American Ballet. She also serves on the boards of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts ^ and Third Way, a progressive think tank, and was a longtime Trustee of Vassar College. Ms. Vogelstein has an Economics degree from Vassar College and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
